Family focussed shopping centre Harbour Town Adelaide has unveiled three new fun and interactive parenting rooms featuring flat screen TVs and modern facilities to keep shoppers and their children comfortable.
With three separate rooms located throughout the centre, parents can choose a peaceful owl, monkey jungle or friendly dinosaur theme to help keep youngsters entertained.
“Harbour Town is dedicated to the family shopper, and recently we have invested in upgrading facilities to ensure an extremely welcoming and comfortable experience for families,” Harbour Town Adelaide Marketing Manager Melanie Arthur says.
“Harbour Town’s parenting rooms are equipped with play panels, TVs screening child friendly movies and the themes in each room capture the imagination of babies. The rooms provide a clean and comfortable environment for parents to attend to the personal needs of their children.”
The unisex accessible parenting rooms provide nappy change tables, toilets, nursing areas, breastfeeding chairs and each change room is fitted with a microwave for the heating of food and formula and bottle warmers. Free stroller hire is also available from the Centre Management Office.
Harbour Town erected a 117 m sq shaded playground in 2010 featuring a climbing ring tunnel, cable rope net climber, pommel pole climbers, slippery dip and more and is built above soft rubber under surfacing.
With more than 100 outlet stores offering great discounts off big brands including kids clothing and toy stores, there is something for everyone at Harbour Town.
Harbour Town is conveniently located only 15 minutes from the city and 10 minutes from Glenelg at 727 Tapleys Hill Road, West Beach – and parking is FREE.
